Each Romeo & Valentine bag is made with care and designed to last. Follow these simple guidelines to keep your bag looking its best.

Denim Bags

Spot cleaning (recommended)
For minor marks, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent. Gently rub the affected area and allow to air dry.

Hand washing
If a deeper clean is needed, hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Do not wring - reshape and lay flat or hang to dry in the shade.

Do not tumble dry
Heat can shrink or distort the fabric. Always air dry.

Colour transfer
Denim - particularly darker washes - can transfer colour onto light clothing or surfaces, especially when new or damp. This is a natural characteristic of denim and will reduce over time.

Hardware & Straps

Wipe metal hardware with a dry cloth to remove moisture and prevent tarnishing. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or harsh chemicals.

Storage

Store your bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Stuff with tissue paper to help it hold its shape when not in use.

A Note on One-of-a-Kind Pieces

Because each bag is cut individually from new and reclaimed denim, the colour, texture, and fade of your piece is unique. Variations in appearance are part of what makes your bag one of a kind - not a flaw.
